The award was presented to the Wolf firm for its coopera- tion in hiring a large number of persons, including some with special employment problems, who had been referred to it by JVS in the past year. Twenty-four other firms were praised for "outstanding assis- tance" in employing persons referred by the agency, and received employer honor roll citations. Robert S. Amberg, who had served as a vice-president, was elected president of the Vo- cational Service, succeeding Hoke Levin. Also elected to one-year terms as officers of JVS were Jacob Kellman and Nathan Shevitz, vice-presidents; Leon G. Winkelman, secretary, and Clarence L. Ascher, treasurer. David M.
