Klein was solemnized last Sun-
day afternoon, at the New lib-
eral Jewish Congregation, in
London, England.
The new Mrs. Klein is the
daughter of Mrs. Veit Simon,
of London, and holds a BS
degree in economics from Lon-
don School of Economics. Dr.
Klein is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Maurice Klein, of 8545
Second, Detroit. He holds his
BA, MA and PhD degrees from
the University of Michigan.
After spending the summer
months in England, the couple
will make their home in Clin-
ton, N. Y., where Dr. Klein is

July 7, it was announced this
week by Thomas D. Leadbetter,

To facilitate registration, all
Police Precinct and Fire Sta-
tions, excepting the headquar-
ters of each, will be available
on June 30, and July 1, 5 and
7, from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
Electors who have regis-
tered, voted or transferred
since Jan. 1, 1956 are not
required to re-register. Per-
sons registering before that
date, who have not voted, must
apply for re-registration.
Notification of change of
address may be facilitated by
sending a card or letter, listing
both addresses within the City

The bride-elect is a graduate

school of dental hygiene. Mr.

WSU law school. He is past

Egyptian Refugees
Arrive in U. S.

Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Ben-
veniste are the first Egyptian
refugees to receive U. S. visas
under a special Refugee-
Escapee section of the 1957
emergency refugee legisla-
tion. The Benvenistes, who
were dismissed from their
jobs in Cairo following the
Sinai and Suez actions in the
fall of 1956, are among the
escapee - refugees being
brought here and to other
new homelands by United
Hias Service. A total of 14,500
U. S. visas are available un-
der the 1957 law.

Joffe Re-Elected on
NRAC Executive Body

Boris M. Joffe, executive di-
rector of the Jewish Community
Council, has been re-elected to
the executive committee of 'the
National Community Advisory
Council at its Plenum Session
in Boston last week.
Lawrence W. Crohn, presi-
dent of the Council, and Joffe
were the Detroit delegates to
NCRAC Plenum. Crohn served
on the nominating committee
of this session.
