Celia Weinberg and Theo-
dore Baruch, both residents of
this city, were joined together
in matrimony in a ceremony
;erformed on Wednesday by
Rabbi Morris Adler at the home
of the bride's brother, Dr.
Charles Weinberg, of Buffalo,
N. Y.
The new Mrs. Baruch is
executive director of the Wo-
men's Division of the Jewish
Welfare Federation of Detroit,
while Mr. Baruch is head of
the English department of
Pershing High School here.
The bride is the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Weinberg, of Buffalo. Her
father; a .leader in the Buffalo
community prior to his death
some years ago, was president
of the Pine Street Synagogue.
Mr. Baruch is the son of the
late Dr. and Mrs. Jacob Bar-
uch, of Detroit. Dr. Baruch was
a well-known physician and a
recognized Jewish scholar.
The couple left today from
New York City for an extended
honeymoon to Europe and Is-
rael. They will return here on
Aug. 3 to take up residence at
3311 W. Chicago.
