Annoyance and damage to property resulting from heavy
rainfalls, such as that shown above, can be eliminated through
the installation of Flood Valves. According to Don Weisman,
secretary of the Flood Control Valve Co., 9938 Wyoming, instal-
lations of these valves passed the 6,000 mark in Detroit this
week. The valves are guaranteed to prevent water in the
city sewer line from entering the basement and at the same
time to dispose of seepage water. A permanent installation,
FCV rquires no breaking of basement floors to complete the
job, and all installations are made by licensed master plumbers,
Weisman said.
