At Sabbath services of Young
Israel Center of Oak-Woods at
9 a.m., Saturday. the congrega-
tion will honor all of Oak
Park's June graduates. The spe-
cial baccalaureate service will
give special recognition to grad-
uates of the Oak Park High
School.
Graduates of elementary and
higher educational schools also
will be honored. All graduates,
their families and friends are
invited to attend. The Bar Mitz-
vah of Lionel Bodzin will be
observed, and Rabbi Yaakov I.
Homnick will preach the ser-
mon.
Services today are scheduled
to begin at 7:55 p.m.
Other activities during the
week will include the tri-instal-
lation ceremony of synagogue,
men's club and sisterhood of-
ficers on Tuesday evening, in
the congregation.
Rabbi Homnick will install all
newly-elected officers of the
three groups, and the children's
choir from the Beth Yehudah
Schools will entertain. A social
hour and supper will follow.
New Sisterhood officers in-
clude Mesdames David Dombey,
president; M. Novetsky, S. Ri-
biat, P. Kellman and I. Arlin,
vice-presidents; M. Trager, D.
Spinner and J. Cohen, secre-
taries; L. Fein, treasurer; J.
Rodd, A. Greenwald and B. J.
Applebaum, board members.
A series of June events is
being planned by the synagogue
youth group, under the direc-
tion of Mrs. L. Fein, Myra
Cohen and Eli Fein, beginning
this Sunday with a trip to the
zoo.
