In a candlelight ceremony
April 20, at Beth Abraham
Synagogue, Arlene Nachman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Nachman, of Rutherford
Ave., became the bride of Man-
dell Simon, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Simon, of Tyler Ave. Rabbi
Israel I. Halpern and Cantor
Shabtai Ackerman officiated.
The bride wore a floor-length
gown of peau de soie, the slim,
fitted bodice of which was ac-
cented by a full skirt of paneled
lace. It extended into a chapel
train. Bordering the scooped
neckline were motif clusters of
lace and seed pearls. The illu-
sion veil fell from a scalloped
crown of seed pearls, and she
carried white orchids on a
Bible.
Lois Nachman, the bride's
sister, was her maid of honor,
and bridesmaids were Barbara
Stollman, Audrey Rocklin, San-
dra Abugow, Judith Verona and
Lenore Gorosh. Her niece, Ellen
Ann Kirman, was flower girl.
The bridegroom's brother,
Marvin Simon, was his best
man, while ushers included an-
other brother, Sheldon Simon,
Marvin Schultz, Arnie Blau,
Nate Firestone, Martin Gorosh
and Manny Kaman.
Following their honeymoon
to Miami Beach, Fla., the couple
has taken up residence here on
Meyers Rd.
