Mr. Jules Doneson has returned from an inaugural trip on
the Scandinavian Airlines System to Athens, Greece, and Copen-
hagen, Denmark. Operator of the Jules Doneson Travel Agency,
he was one of 20 travel agents to be awarded the trip for selling
the greatest number of SAS tickets during a three-month period.
Mrs. Mary Dombey, who is leaving shortly for an extended
visit in Israel where she will see her brother, Mr. Fred
Malamud, was recently tendered a farewell dinner by her
sister, Mrs. Rose Katz, of 4334 W. Grand. Members of the
immediate family and close friends who were in attendance
included the Jack Malamuds, Aaron Malamuds, Louis LeMeds,
Mrs. Esther Janiotis, Mrs. Reva Grarich, the Stanley Sameroffs,
Ben Geltmans, Ruben Dashes and Mrs. Abe Goodman.
The David Iwreys, of Robson Ave., are currently enter-
taining as their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gregorio Senner-
man, of Santiago, Chile. Mrs. Sennerman and Mrs. Iwrey, who
are sisters, had not seen each other in 12 years.
While visiting this country, the Sennermans also visited
family in New York and Pittsburgh. Mr. and Mrs. Iwrey will
escort their guests back to New York, from which they will
depart for a cruise to Bermuda before returning home.
The Misses Faye Waddell, of Oak Park, and Louise
Seffens, of Detroit, were among those who were in Louisville,
Ky., for the running of the Kentucky Derby last weekend.
Recent vacationers in London, England, where they visited
the Tower of London and other sites, were Mr. and Mrs.
J. Franovitz, of 24011 Manistee, Oak Park, and Mr. and Mrs.
J. Hackman, of 15140 Chippewa.
Cantor Jacob Silverman, former Detroiter who now is
making his home in Miami Beach, Fla., is visiting here with
his daughter, Mrs. Florence Perlman, 18666 Ohio.
An ice cream social and friendship tour of three local
houses of worship is being offered by the Women's Division
of the Detroit Round Table at 12 noon, Wednesday, at
Northern Recreation Center, 8904 Woodward. In addition to
Temple Beth El, visits will be made to St. Joseph Episcopal
Church and Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. The
symbols and beliefs of each faith will be explained.

Detroit area, Ann Arbor, Flint,
Saginaw, Toledo, Dayton, Cleve-
land, Columbus, Pittsburg and
Indianapolis, Ind.
In charge of arrangements
will be a committee headed by
Drs. Aaron Blake and Frank
Solway.
The out-of4own contingent
will be augmented by a group
of fraters from Ohio, western
Pennsylvania and Indiana, who
are meeting today and Saturday
for a regional seminar of Alpha
Omega.
Drs. Fred Stein, national
editor, and Martin Naimark,
regent for the district, are in
charge of arrangements for the
seminar, which will feature
lectures and discussions on fra-

ternal problems and relation-
ships.
President Sherman will be
guest of honor at the meeting
which will be attended by four
past national presidents from
Detroit, Drs. Joseph Gruber,
Bennett Sidenberg, Samuel
Gerendasy, president of the De-
troit District Dental Society,
and Louis Galin.
