Asks Support for Bonds NEW YORK, (JTA) — The importance of American capi- tal investment in Israel through the purchase of Israel bonds was stressed here by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, noted American Zionist leader and chairman of the bond organization's board of governors, following his re- turn from Israel. Byron Krieger Wins More Fencing Titles Defending his title as state foil and saber champion, Byron Krieger, after facing six op- ponents in an Oak Park contest, won his 31st and 32nd state championships. Krieger was a member of the U. S. Olympic foil teams both in 1952 and 1956, and was the first American to win the in- dividual saber championship in the World Maccabiah games held last September in Israel. He is currently third ranking foil fencer in the U. S., and will compete in a national champion- ship team contest to determine which team faces an inter- national competition for the world championship. Spring Sale to Aid Local Handicapped Volunteer workers residing in the Palmer Park area will hold their annual spring sale for the Detroit League for the Handi- capped from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, in the home of Mrs. Sidney R.
