Pasteur School Cubs

MRS. MAXWELL SCHWARTZ

A blue and white motif was
used throughout for the April
20 wedding of Florence Ann
Silverman and Maxwell Jacob
Schwartz at the Sheraton Cadil-
lac Hotel. Rabbi Morris Adler
officiated, assisted by Rev. Dr.
Herman Hailperin of Pitts-
burgh, Pa., a cousin of the
bride.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Silverman,
of Hubbell Ave. The bridegroom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Schwartz, of Kentucky Ave.
The bride wore a princess line
gown of white peau de soie
which featured an empire bod-
ice of Alencon lace, portrait
neckline and full skirt which
fell into a court train. Her
double tier, finger tip illusion
veil was held in place by a
crown of matching Alencon lace.
She carried phaelanopsis cas-
caded with stephanotis on her
consecration bible.
Her only attendant was Mrs.
Donald F. Sugerman, who
served as matron of honor.
Joel A. Lubin served the
bridegroom as best man. Ushers
included: Robert S. Schwartz,
brother of the bridegrobm; Jack
Horwitz, Jack Simon, Dr. Con-
rad Giles, Donald F. Sugerman
and Stuart Orman.
When they return from their
honeymoon to Puerto Rico, the
Virgin Isles and Jamaica, they
will reside at 21661 Stratford
Ct., Oak Park.

I Men's Clubs

Abe Katzman, re-nominated
for another term as president
of the SHA ARE Y ZEDEK
MEN'S CLUB, will head the
slate to be voted upon at the
annual election meeting this
Wednesday evening in the syna-
gogue social hall. Carl S. Schil-
ler was chairman of the nomi-
nating committee, and was as-
sisted by Dr. Albert J. Altman,
Allen Charlip, Dr. Max Lichter
and Nathan Shur.

Cub Pack 256, Louis Pasteur
School, installed its new officers
at its recent monthly pack meet-
ing. Taking over new duties
were William Yolles, cubmas-
ter; William Bonin, C. Kenneth
Sarasan and David Howard, as-
sistant cubmasters; Morris Ka-
ner, institutional representative;
and Mrs. Morris Kaner, pack
mother.
Another highlight of the
March meeting was the presen-
tation of awards to Davin Wolok,
Jeffrey Roberts, Richard Rol-
lins, Mark Horton, Steven Pat-
rick, Michael Wertheimer, John
Daniels, Jimmy Howard, Lee
Fruman, Joel Stillman, Louis
Galinsky, Danny Harvie, Peter
Gruen, David Handleman, Ricky
Colman, Roger Peven; Michael
Bonin and John Wineman.
Adult awards were one-year
pins to Ray an dMary Harvie
and a five-year pin to Charlotte
England. Five new Bobcats were
inducted by retiring cubmaster
Morris Kaner. They are Bradley
Bielfield, Elliott Berry, Charles
Jacobs and Jimmy Schreier, Den
8, and Charles Whiting, Den 6.
