Detroit, Re-Dedicates Major
Efforts in Israel's Support

Scores of celebratiOns are planned here to mark the Tenth Anniversary of
Israel's rebirth . . . The first public rally will be held Sunday evening at
the Ford Auditorium . . . Community leaders engaged in the primary fund-
raising activity for Israel, through the Allied Jewish Campaign, will acclaim
Israel's Birthday at the closing campaign dinner, at Hotel Statler, where
the distinguished Jewish scholar and leader, Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, will
be guest speaker . . . The campaign is now fighting to reach and to
