A. Rockefeller has accepted the
chairmanship of "p e r s-o n-to

peal of Greater New York, and

For Rockefeller, the new post
marks the renewal of active as-
sociation with the leadership of
UJA. In 1946, he served as
chairman of the UJA's non-sec-
tarian campaign committee and
has supported the organization's
efforts since that time.
"Mr. Rockefeller's acceptance
of this key post is a develop-
ment which will hearten. every
U J A volunteer," Goldwater
said. "As one of the world's
foremost philanthropists, Mr.
Rockefeller is proving once
more that the finest humani-
tarianism transcends the boun-
daries of faith."
