Devote April 26
to Israel Sabbath

Israel's 10th anniversary will
be marked by the Yeshivah
Beth Yehudah with an assembly
today on the theme "Israel—
Past and Future."
Wolf Cohen, Yeshivah pres-
ident who just returned from
an extended visit in Israel, will
report on new developments in
the Jewish state. Other speak-
ers will be Rabbi S. P. Wohl-
gelernter and Rabbi Joseph
Elias.
The musical program will be
conducted by Rabbi Solomon
Hochler, and a panel of stu-
dents will appear in an Israel
quiz program. A short prayer
service for the welfare of the
Jewish state will open the as-
sembly.

with the leadership of local
synagogues and other reli-
gious organizations in the
community, calls upon all
Detroit synagogues to devote
the sabbath of April 26 to
prayers and sermons on the
occasion of the 10th year of
the independence of the
Jewish State.
Their entire membership
also urges you to participate
in the city-wide celebration
of the Israel Independence
Day, to be held on Sunday,
April 27, at the Ford Au-
ditorium.
