activities in Society
Mrs. Helen Jackman, representing the Elkin Travel Bureau,
19437 Livernois, left last Wednesday for a visit to Europe where
she will check accommodations and services for her clientele.
During her travels, she will make stop-overs in England, Bel-
gium, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Accompanying Mrs.
Jackman are Detroiters Mrs. Alice Schrier and Mrs. Mary Rosen-
berg. Mrs. Rosenberg will continue her travels to Israel, where
she plans to stay for six to eight weeks.
Mrs. Herman Litvin and daughter, Evelyn, of 18410 Wood-
ingham, have just returned from a month's vacation in Miami
Beach.
Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Eder and daughter, Beverly, of Canter-
bury Dr., returned home this week from the Concord Hotel,
N. Y., where they spent the Passover holidays.
Former Detroiters Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Zuckerman, now of
Springfield, N. J., are currently on a world tour, which already
has taken them to Honolulu, Tokyo, Hong Kong, China and
India.
Dr. and Mrs. Michael J. Franzblau and daughter, Deborah,
of San Rafel, Calif., have returned home after attending the
Baker-Franzblau wedding here on March 16.
Mrs. Bernard Rose, of 23301 Kipling, Oak Park, has returned
home after an extended four-month trip which took her to Sara-
sota and Miami Beach, Fla., Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San
Francisco. While in Los Angeles, she attended the weddings of
Liane Nagelberg to Teddy Cohen and Lillian Marienthal to
Joseph Miller.
A canopy bedecked with
white roses and chrysanthe-
mums provided the setting for
the wedding on April 3, in the
Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel of Ro-
chelle Debra Miller and Ivan
M. Forbes.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Abraham B. Mil-
