of the Histadrut Campaign,
plans are now going forward for
the traditional third seder,
which annually closes the drive.
All canvassers are being
urged to complete their assign-
ments by this Sunday, so that
a complete accounting of the

wine and other holiday refresh-

featured speaker at the occa-
sion. Also planned will be a

dor Belarsky, known as the am-
bassador of Jewish music who
will present a program of Eng-
lish, Yiddish and Hebrew songs.
Another highlight of the eve-
ning will be the appearance of
the HaMachol Dance Group,
comprised of graduate students
from the Wayne State Univer-
sity Dance Society.

Mount Clemens Sets
Dinner for Israel's
Tenth Anniversary

The communities of Mount
Clemens, Pontiac and Port Hu-
ron have joined forces in prep-
aration for a dinner celebrating
the 10th anniversary of the
State of Israel, Saturday, April
19, at the Colonial Hotel,
Mount Clemens. The affair is
sponsored by the Israel Bond
committees in the three com-
munities.
Heading the dinner commit-
tee are the following community
board chairmen: Arthur Feld-
man and Paul Litvin, Mount
Clemens; Dr. Harry Trnkoff,
Mitchell L. Bacoi,y and Jacob
A. Meyer, Pontiac; David Dres-
cher and Alvin Winkelman,
Port Huron. Working with them

Ten Mile Center Slates Activities
for Pre-Schoolers, Teens and Adults

Activities for both children
and adults have been lined up
by the Jewish Community Cen-
ter for its Ten Mile branch,
15110 W. Ten Mile.
A diversified slate of classes,
to begin Monday, will include
sessions in painting, sculpture,
bridge, fencing, trimnastics and
chalil. Each class will meet 11
times during the spring season.
Two well-known local artists
will teach courses in painting.
Sam Pucci will instruct from 1
to 3 p.m., Mondays and Wednes-
days, and a Tuesday evening
class from 8 to 10 p.m., will be
conducted by Ben Glicker.
Sculptor Jay Holland will con-
duct two sessions, Mondays, 8
to 10:30 p.m., and Wednesdays,
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Beginning or intermediate
bridge players may attend one
of the three classes instructed
by Mae Grainger. Enrollment in
each is limited to 16 players.
The classes are held 10 a.m. to
12 noon Wednesdays; and 1 to
3 p.m. Mondays and Wednes-
days. The - Wednesday morning
class is for beginners, the other
two for intermediate competi-
tors.
Instructor Ted Kaczander, a
former state fencing champion,
will teach that sport from 9 to
10 p.m. on Thursday, while
Sylvia Zukin will make bulges
disappear at her trimnastics
classes, 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays
and Fridays.
A chalil class, conducted by
Avram Rosenthal, formerly of
the -Kol Israel Radio Symphony,
Jerusalem, and currently with
the Center Symphony, meets at
8 p.m. on Mondays.
The spring term will run
from March 24 to June 6. Miles
Jaffe is chairman of the Ten
Mile Adult Program committee.
