"it is not within my province
and I have nothing new to re-

health." Asked whether he was
involved in negotiations for the
release of the two captives, he
said the matter was not in his

Abraham Cohen, director of the
Jewish Agency's Office for Pro-
fessional and Technical Work-
ers (PATWA) during his visit
to Detroit Tuesday and Wed-
nesday.
PATWA investigates employ-
inent opportunities in Israel for
all types of professional and
technical personnel. It serves as
liaison between the 'applicant
and employers in Israel, makes
individual surveys or prospects,
and guides candidates in the
detailed preparations for settle-
ment in Israel.
Those interested should call
the office of the Jewish Com-
munity Council, WO 2-6710, to
arrange an appointment.
Cohen, who at one time was
associated with the Detroit
Jewish Community Council,
lived in Israel with his family
for several years and was exec-
utive secretary of the Associa-
tion of American and Canadian
Jews in Israel.

Donna Teache, Susan Victor
and Margie Stein defeated the
Buffalo team at Detroit.
Later arguing the negative
view of the question, Phyllis
Segal, Arlene Schachter and
Leslie Victor trounced the Beth
Zion team at Buffalo .
Future debates are planned
with Chicago and Toledo teams.
