his interest in the trees planted

Israel Atlas, are now being dis-
tributed in the United States,
it was announced by the Jew-
ish Agency for Palestine, co-
sponsor of the project. The
16"x20" atlas, produced in co-
operation with the Survey of
Israel, offers a large selection
of maps recording Israel's his-
tory from ancient times to the
present day; her geography,
geology, climatic conditions,
flora and fauna; the distribu-
tion of her population, educa-
tional institutions and social
services; the location of her
main industries, farming areas
are communications network.
Wherever possible, maps de-
picting conditions as they exist-
ed at various periods in the
country's history are placed
side by side with the most up-
to-date records, giving a bird's
