After spend- ing two weeks in Cairo, where he met with Egyptian offi- cials and rep- resentatives of the Jewish community, Dr. Shoskes visited in Is- rael with Pres- Dr. Shoskes ident Ben-Zvi, Premier Ben-Gurion and Knes- set Speaker Joseph Sprinzak. Dr. Shoskes also has visited in Poland, Romania and Soviet Russia, and was in Europe just after the Hungarian exodus to Austria, where he spoke to countless Jewish refugees.
