day and concluding on Jan. 25.
A preview and reception for the

Mr. Joseph Malta, of San Francisco, Calif., has returned
home after completing a month's stay with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. James Malta, of Van Dyke' Ave. Mr. Malta is entering the
University of San Francisco college of business administration.
During his stay here, he was entertained by Mr. Arnold Suss-
man, of Dexter Blvd.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moskowitz, of LaSalle Ave., will celebrate
their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pohl and children, Bertram and Sharon,
formerly of Glendale Ave., are now residing in their new home
at 20438 Mark Twain.
A party was held this Monday in honor of Florence Kogan
at the home of her daughter-in-law, Helen Kogan, of 3015 Webb.
Mrs. Kogan, visiting here from Mexico City where she will
return this weekend, is the mother of Charles and Aaron Kogan,
slain World War II heroes after : whom a local post of the Jewish
War Veterans is named.
Miss Gloria Lightstone, a graduate of the University of
Michigan, flew to Europe recently. She will begin a year's study
at the University of Vienna.
Mrs. Edith Albert Freedman, of Whitmore Rd., is currently
spending some time Palm Beach, Fla., as the guest of the
Louis Laskys. Later in the month, she will leave for Los Angeles,
Calif., to visit her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob
Albert.
Dr. and Mrs. Ted Winshall and son, 'Walter, of 17210 James
Couzens, will return home today after spending a month's vaca-
tion in Miami Beach, Fla.
Pfc. Harold Michalowsky, stationed at Fort Carson,. Colo.,
with the U. S. Army, is currently home on furlough with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Michalowsky, of 2684 Leslie.
