how some of their Christian
neighbors were going to cele-
brate Christmas. They had seen
that many families did not have
enough food for the holiday
meals.
With this in mind, "Project
Food" was organized.

Many homes were brighter
and happier this Christmas. For
those celebrating the holiday,
a covered table changed the
mood from sadness to festivity
—and in the homes of the Jew-
ish boys and girls where Christ-
mas was not religiously observ-
ed, the participants were happy,
too.
As Ronnie Mazer, president
of the Youth Group put it, "It
felt good knowing that these
people were provided for and
able to celebrate their holiday."
