Cantor Reuven Frankel also will be the guest of Landsman- shaften that evening. Members of the societies and their friends have been invited. The program, arranged by the committee for Landsman- shaften for Jewish National Fund, will be dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Israel, and will be one of a series of events to take place during the Month of Shevat (Jan. 22 to Feb. 20), which has been designated as JNF Month in Michigan. The purpose of the meeting, according to Harry Rosenthal, secretary of the committee, is to focus the attention of an im- portant segment of the com- munity on the vital role of the Jewish National Fund in Israel. The Landsmanshaften of De- troit three years ago undertook to perpetuate the names of De- troit Societies by planting a forest of 30,000 trees. The com- mittee hopes to complete this project during this tenth year of Israel's independence. During JNF Month, every society is asked to plan a special meeting to promote activities in behalf of the JNF. Daily Per Person '6 35 Rent ot lou9b51182e5 F °Racmc. r ds o Chev.
