York, and Bar-Ilan University,
Ramat Gan, Israel, to register
at the tribute meeting in his
memory, to be held Monday eve-
ning at the Davison Jewish
Center.
The Haskarah will be chanted
at this meeting, to which the
entire community is invited, by
Cantor Shabtai Ackerman, for-
merly of the Tel Aviv Syna-
gogue where the late Dr. Chur-
gin worshipped.
The memorial meeting has
been arranged by the former
students of Dr. Churgin and the
Detroit Committee for the Bar-
Ilan University.
Those who will deliver eulo-
