came the bride of David F.

and Cantor Shabtai Ackerman
officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brody, of
Blackstone Ave., Oak Park. - The
bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
Esther Gross, of Avon Ave., and
the late Mr. William Gross.
For her wedding, the new
Mrs. Gross chose a gown of
white silk eau de soie, de-
signed with a scoop decolletage
outlined with soft appliques of
Alencon lace. beaded with seed
pearls and brilliants. The three-
quarter-length sleeves came to
her elbows, and the bouffant
'skirt ended in a chapel train.
Her ensemble was completed
with a crown of matching lace,
which held in place a three-
tiered veil of illusion.
Paula Gross was maid of
honor, and Helyn Pershin, sis-
ter of the bridegroom, was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
.were Toby Zuisman, Harlene
,,Peen and Carole Lash, while
Arlene Brody, sister of the
bride, was junior bridesmaid.
Leonard Greenberg was the
bridegroom's best man, and
ushers included Marshal Lewis,
David Rubinstein and Harold
Weinbaum. Larry Horowitz was
junior usher. Also in the pro-
cession were the bridegroom's
niece and nephew, Rona Per-
shin as flower girl and David
Moss, ring bearer.

will make their home on Votro-

a breakfast sponsored by the
Sunday Morning Brunch Club,
of which Shapiro is president.
The occasion marks the second
visit of the Israeli leader in
Detroit, after an intensive tour
of penal institutions in this.!
country.
Inviting both men and
women to the breakfast, Sha-
piro said: "At my request Capt.
Nasim is returning to Detroit
to give her expert account of
the penal system in Israel. She
will draw a comparison to our
own penal' institutions."
