Joseph Handleman of Detroit;
three sons, Samuel, Nathan of
Los Angeles and David; six
grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
Affiliated with nearly every
important Jewish movement
and a member of Shaarey
Zedek, Mrs. Kabaker was wide-
ly known for her charitable ac-
tivities.
Together with her husband,
the late Jacob Kabaker who
died 17 years ago, she took a
deep interest in religious in-
stitutions and supported scores
of causes in this country and
in Israel. Prior to the last war,
the Kabakers assisted many
European causes.
Mrs. Kabaker continued her
husband's work after his death
and never turned down a re-
quest for assistance to a worthy
and legitimate cause.
Born in Lithaunia, she came
to Detroit as a youno- ter. She
was married here: then moved
with her husband to Clinton,
Ill. They returned to Detroit
47 years ago.

hundred Arabs, most of them
from Jordan and Lebanon, have
settled in Israel in the last
year, according to official
figures released here today.
Most of the 200 were ad-
mitted, under the family-repat-
