Miss Ruth Meckler, one of
Detroit's most popular young
pianists, fulfilled the expecta-
tions of her large audience, at
the Art Institute, Sunday- eve-
ning, with her excellent recital
which included selections from .
Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel
and Liszt.
Miss Meckler was the guest
artist at the 22nd annual con-
cert of the Music Study Club.
She is especially excellent in
her interpretation of the Bee-
thoven Sonata No. 28 in A
major.
Throughout her concert, Miss
Meckler proved her mastery at
the piano. She captured every
mood of every selection.
At several points in the pro-
gram, there were cheers for the
young musician from the audi-
ence.
