Kaufman officially opened Wayne County Juvenile Court's 15th anniver- sary celebration as he con- ducted city and county digni- taries on a tour of the Court buildings, Monday morning. Preliminary to the tour, Judge Kaufman announced Gov. G. Mennen Wil- H ams' and Mayor Louis C. Miriani's offi- cial proclama- tions designat- ing Nov. 18 to 23 as Juvenile Court Week. The anniver- sary celebration will culminate in a banquet, Judge Kaufman Saturday night, in the Univer- sity of Detroit student union. Sharing the speakers' platform at the event will be the Court's first Judge, Ira Jayne, and its present Judge, Kaufman. The speak e r s will recount the court's fifty years of activity on behalf of "children with prob- lems."
