Rockefeller Grant Aids
Solar Research in Israel

NEW YORK (JTA) - The
Rockefeller Foundation has an-
nounced a three-year $50,000
grant to further research in
solar energy at the National
Physical Laboratory in Jeru-
salem.
In i t s announcement, the
Foundation said "the develop-
ment of an almost perfect coat-
ing for solar collectors is one
of the . major achievements of
the research on solar energy
directed by Dr. H. Tabor at - the
National Physical Laboratory."
The Foundation - also an-
nounced a $17,000 grant t o
Brandeis University for a three-
year research project on eco-
nomic development, and indi-
vidual fellowships to Dr. Ger-
man Ducash Grinberg, of the
medical faculty of the Univers-
ity of Chile, and Dr. Sholom
Kahn of the Hebrew University
to come to the U.S. to study,
respectively, hematology a n d
literature.
