This conference is open to
students of all Detroit High
Schools who desire to learn
more about careers. Students
will break up into smaller
groups for the day to discuss
different vocations.

Young Israel Youth
Map Special Program
A special program commem-
orating Jewish Book Month will
be presented on Nov. 16 by
young Israel youth groups at
the YI center, 12521 Dexter.
Following a dramatic produc-
tion, the attendants will dis-
cuss Jewish books in separate
groups according to age levels.
Parents will be invited to par-
ticipate.
This Sunday , youth groups
will meet at 1:30 p.m. for an
outing. A kind of Olympic com-
petition will be included in the
program. The event will kick-
off a fund-raising project in
which the youth will partici-
pate.
Nine youth groups meet at
2:30 p.m., each sabbath in the
Young Israel center. Boys and
girls are organized in separate
groups according to age.
The YI center has instituted
week-day groups for adult
study, wood-working and sports.
