Thirty years of service was
marked by the Detroit Auxil-
iary, City of Hope, the organ-
ization's oldest group in the
city, at a banquet held recently
at Rainbow Catering on Wyom-
ing. The group supports the
non-sectarian City of Hope na-
tional medical center, which op-
erates the Los Angeles Sana-
tarium and Cancer Hospital.
Banquet guests were wel-
comed by Nathan R. Epstein,
who has been the group's presi-
dent for the past 22 years.
Itzchok Sosnick was toastmaster.
Principal speaker at the
event was Samuel Sigal, of the
Jewish Daily Forward.
Ben Goldberg, president of
the City of Hope Businessmen's
Group, greeted the banquet at-
