The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pack- ard, of 333 Pleasant, Charlotte, Mich. Miss Feldman's fiance attend- ed the University of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University. He was af- filiated with Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. Kushner, who has been serving as USO-National Jewish Welfare Board (JWB) armed services director in the Long Island, N.Y. area, has been named director of the USO club in Mt. Clemens, Mich., it was announced by S. D. Gershovitz, JWB execu- tive vice-president. JWB is one of the six agencies of USO. In his work as USO director on Long Beach, Mr. Kushner organized morale work at mili- tary installations and super- vised volunteer programs at military and veterans hospitals. In addition to conducting the usual USO program for GIs of all faiths, Mr. Kushner will co- operate with Chaplain Herbert Eskin, of Selfridge Air Force Base in planning of social, cul- tural and educational activities for Jewish military personnel in Mt. Clemens. The committee for this is headed by Irwin Eisenfeld, of Mt. Clemens. Before coming to JWB, Kushner was associated with the Jewish Settlement House in New York, the Lillian Wald Recreation Rooms, Recreation Rooms and Settlement, and the Middletown, N.
