I daughter, Renee Adele, to Joel
Michael Schneider, of Washing-
ton, N. J.
Miss Goldstein is a graduate
of Carnegie Medical Laboratory
Institute. Her finance is a grad-
uate of the school of business
administration, Lafayette Col-
lege, Easton, Pa.
Beth Aaron Boy Scouts
Plan All-Day Outing
An all-day outing at Highland
Recreation Area will be spon-
sored by boy scout troop 537,
Beth Aaron Branch, according
to Milton Stearn, of the troop's
administrative board. The out-
ing will include games, a cook-
out, setting-up practice and hik-
ing.
The troop plans many such
week-end programs, in addition
to an annual court of honor, at
which special awards are given
to troop members.
According to Stearn, all Jew-
ish boys aged 11 to 13 are in-
vited to join the scout troop.

Pianist Roger Williams, stage,
screen and television stars Lar-
ry Parks and Betty Garrett and
Jan Bart, tenor-humorist, are
the three principals who will
headline the 12th annual "Star-
Studded Reyue" of the Greater
Detroit Bnai Brith Women's
Council.
The show, to culminate a
six-month drive for $100,000 to
assist a variety of Bnai Brith
philanthropies locally, through-
out the United States and in
Israel, will be held at 8:30 p.m.,
Nov. 12, at the Fox Theater.
Under the leadership of Mrs.
Philip Fealk, president of the
Council, 7,000 women represent-
ing 24 chapters are assured of
meeting their quota. Over $75,-
000 has been raised. Mrs.
George Karabenick is program
chairman of the "Star-Studded
Revue."
Others who will perform be-
fore an anticipated audience of
5,000 persons are Los Romeros
and Reina, South American
dance team; Mel Snyder, master
of ceremonies; and Russ Weav-
er and his orchestra.
- Among the many activities
I that Bnai Brith funds support
are service- programs at Pontiac
State Hospital, Northville State
Hospital, Veterans Hospital,
Marine Hospital and the USO.
They continue, as they have for
years, to maintain a Mobile
Blood Bank.
Through the Anti-Defamation
League, BB members learn how
to help in combatting bigots and
anti-Semites, and as part of its
program to foster better human
relations a new project will be
started this year.
Called "Dolls for Democracy,"
the program is now underway.
Dolls will be used to represent
peoples of different racial, re-
ligious and national back-
grounds whose lives were de-
voted to the ideal of the Broth-
erhood of man.
At present, dolls being used
for these presentations in
schools and elsewhere include
Chaim Weizmann, Abraham
Lincoln, George Washington
Carver and St. Francis of Assisi.
Through its Israel program,
Bnai Brith ships millions of
dollars in food, clothing, medi-
cine and other equipment to the
new state, and has an Israel
Bond program to help its
growth industrially.
