Mrs. Joseph Shewach, of 4890
W. Outer Dr. The bride-to-be
is Judith Elinor Shewach; her
fiance is Marvin Richelsoph, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rich-
elsoph, of 259 Marion, Bridge-
port, Conn.
Miss Shewach will graduate
this January with a degree in
music from the Wayne State
University liberal arts college.
She is vice-chancellor of Iota
Alpha Pi sorority.
The prospective bridegroom
is a pre-law student at WSU.
He previously studied at the
University of Connecticut. He
is lieutenant-master of Alpha
Epsilon Pi social fraternity.
The couple plan a December
wedding.

The first of a series of con-
certs sponsored by the Detroit
Friends of Music will be pres-
ented at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday,
in the Morris L. Schaver audi-
torium, 19161 Schaefer at W.
Seven Mile.
Paul Olefsky, principal cellist
of the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra, will conduct the De-
troit Friends of Music Chamber
Orchestra.
The concert will feature
Emma Schaver in the mid-West
premiere of "Shepherd of Is-
rael," a cantata by Hovhaness.
She will also sing a solo
cantata by Mozart. Mrs. Schaver
will be accompanied by Milton
Setzer.
Setzer also will play the Con-
certo Grosso No. 1 by Bloch.
Mischa Mischakoff, concert-
master of the Detroit Sym-
phony, will perform the solo
violin portions in an American
premiere of a violin concerto
by Vivaldi.
Lare Lare Waredrop will reder
the English horn solo in
"Melody and Dance," a corn-

position by Julius Chajes, sponsored at 6 p.m., Nov. 20, at
which was premiered in Vienna the Hayim Greenberg building
under auspices of Arlazaroff
branch of the Labor Zionist or-
ganization.
