vest Festival, to be sponsored by
the Lapeer Parents Association,
from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday,
at 22521 Grand River, Redford
Township.
Proceeds will furnish recrea-
tional and educational equip-
ment not provided by the State.
Some of the items the associa-
tion hopes to supply are spray
wading pools; a miniature train
to transport children on the
grounds, lawn swings and per-
manents and shampoos for girls.
The parents and_ friends of the
association work the year round
to prep a r e various booths.
Booths this year's bazaar will
feature. are "Baby's and Chil-
dren's Clothes, Dolls, Fancy
Needle Work, Plants and Flow-
ers, Country Store, Baker Goods
and. Special Foods, All Occasion
Cards, Fish Pond, Gift Shop,
Hobbies, •Parcel Post, Variety
and White Elephant."
Goal of the bazaar is $6,000,
according to Dora Yeager, chair-
man of the bazaar. She also
stated that the association will
accept any public donations for
the booths.
A special program of enter-
tainment will feature Milky the
Clown, who has volunteered his
services. His magics tricks will
begin at 2 p.m.
Students from Lillie's Acad-
emy will entertain at 4 p.m. A
chorus of retarded children, from
Lapeer State Home will perform
at 5 p.m.
Business lunch and roast beef
dinner, smorgasbord style, will
be served at the affair.

chestra, will perform at the open-
ing dance of the Temple Beth
El Young Married Group season,
from. 8:30 p.m. to 12:30, a.m.,
Oct. 19, in the Wayne Room of

Harry Velick, program chair-
man, has advised that refresh-

termissions at the dance and
that prizes will be given out.
