Dr. Lakin Receives
Army Citation

Dr. Alan C. Lakin, Detroit resi-
dent physician who has been sta-
tioned for the past two years
with the U.S. Army at Aberdeen
Proving Grounds, Md., has re-
ceived an Army citation for out-
standing performance of duty.
While there, Dr. Lakin, a captain,
was chief of obstetrics and
gynocology.
He and Mrs. Lakin, the former
Eleanor Bachman, will be return-
ing to Detroit this month when
he will resume three months of
training at Grace Hospital. He
then will be associated with Dr.
M. E. Bachman and Dr. M. H.
Goldrath.
While :n Maryland, Mrs. Lakin
was active in Army clubs and
won the state bridge tournament.
The Lakins have three children,
Debra, Robert and Marc.
