nationally televised program,
"Wisdom."
Asked for his definition of
Zionisni, he replied that a Jew
should \shape his own life in
country according to his
own ideals and could 'only do
this in Israel. He said he would
like to see every Jew come to
Israel, but many Jews are com-
fortable where they are and
will stay there as long as they
can. Some 2,000,000 Jews can-
not • stay where they are, ..he
added, and are corning to Israel
at the rate of 7,000 a month.

Goldmann Denies Receiving
Soviet Visa; Sought None



GEWEVA (.TTIA.-)—Dr. Nahum
Goldmann, president-, of the
World Zionist Organization and
of the World Jewish Congress,
denied reports he had received
a Soviet visa and planned to
visit the USSR in • the hear
future.
"I have not applied for
Russian visa nor have I re-
ceived one," he stated. "It is
not my intention' to visit the
Soviet Union during the next
couple of months, as in any case
my time' is aiready filled for
this period with various other
engagements." Dr. G-oldmann
left for Marseilles to take a ship
back to Israel.
