Boston Attorney Wills
$700,000 for Education

BOSTON, (JTA ) —Educati an-

ish historian, which has just
been filed for - probate.
The American Jewish Histori-
cal Society will receive $375,000
and some personal articles of
historical value; Harvard Col-
lege will receive $125,000 and
Mr. Friedman's collection of
Judaica including books, manu-
scripts, pictures and letters; the
Union of American Hebrew
Congregations will receive $85,-
000 for two different uses and
its seminary, Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute of Re-.
ligion, another $15,000.
Other recipients include the
Jewish Publication S o c i e t y,
YIVO, Boston Public Library
and Boston Museum of Fine
Arts.

Canada Not Changing
Immigration Policies

MONTREAL, (WJA) The
recent announcement of Cana-
dian government policy on im-
migration, commented upon as
a change of policy and curtail-
ment of immigration to Canada,
was in fact only indicative of
the usual slow-down of immi-
=gration during the winter
months. This statement was
made at a conference on im-
migration in Ottawa by the
Hon. D. Fulton, Acting Minister
, of Citizenship and Immigration.
The Canadian Jewish Congress,
represented by Levy M. Becker,
a national vice-president, was
among the voluntary organiza-
- tions and church groups attend-
ing the conference.
