Fortney has been appointed as the architect for the proposed sanctuary to be erected by Cong. Bnai Moshe on 10 Mile Rd. and Kenosha, in Oak Park. The announcement was made by Harry Gunsberg, who re- cently succeeded Benjamin Weiss as president of the con- gregation. Fortney, who is noted for his snyagogue designs, is the archi- tect of the sanctuaries of both Adas Shalom Synagogue and Cong. Ahavas Achim. The congregation's suburban High Holiday services will be held in the Oak Park High - School auditorium this year. Rabbi Seymour Fox of New York and Cantor Moshe Pur- jes, formerly of Israel, will conduct services.
