Dr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Jacobs, of this city, are in New
York this week to meet their daughter, Judy, who is returning
from Europe after a two-and-a-half month tour. They will
return home on Tuesday.
Fred Lemberg, son of Mrs. Ben Lemberg, of 18922 Whitcomb,
will be released from miltary service on Nov. 5, three months
earlier than scheduled, under terms of a U.S. Army regulation
covering self-employed individuals. Lemberg, now stationed
at Mannheim, Germany, will leave there about Oct. 20 and will
proceed to Chicago, Ill. to be separated from the army.
Mrs. Charles A. Smith, of 18920 Wisconsin, will be at home to
family and friends from 8 to 11 p.m., Wednesday, in honor of the
recent marriage of her grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Morton Tut-
nauer. Mrs. Tutnauer is the former Margery Weingarden. No
cards.

Max Berman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Berman, of Los
Angeles, Calif.
The bride's gown was of white
silk trimmed with Alencon lace.
She carried a bouquet of baby
orchids and fuji mums.
She was attended by Audrey
Koloff, her sister, and matron
of honor, and bridesmaids,
- Norma-Jean Shufro and Ali-
sanne Harelik; her sisters,
Elaine Berenbaum and Barbara
Spoon.
Sol Arsht was best man, and
ushers were Henery Koloff, Dr.
Arthur Shufro, Jack Stern and
Lionel Spoon.
Upon returning from a Flordia
honeymoon, the couple will re-
side in Chicago, Ill., where Mr.
Berman attends the Loyola
University dental school.
