America. Sept. 12 through 15. at
the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. New
York, Dr. EManuel Neumann,
ZOA president. announced.

Dedicated to the 60th anni-
versary of the ZOA and of the
world Zionist movement, t h e
four-day sessions of the ZOA
convention will also highlight
discussions of the issues con-
fronting the Zionist movement
today, its tasks for the future,
as well as the relationship be-
tween the Zionist movement
and the State of Israel. These
themes will be-dwelt upon by
outstanding leaders from Israel
and the world Zionist move-
ment including Dr. Abba Hillel
Silver: Israel Ambassador to
the U.S., Abba Eban: Dr. Eman-
uel Neumann, member of the
Jewish Agency Executive. and
other top ranking figures in
.AAnerican Zionism.
The opening session of the
convention will be held at Town
Hall, 123 W. 43rd St.. New
York. with the balance of the
plenary sessions in the Waldorf
Astoria Hotel.
Mayor Robert F. Wagner will
greet the delegates. A promi-
nent guest speaker at the con-
vention will be Lady Russell of
Liverpool. who will accompany
her husband on his first visit to
the United States. Lady Rus-
sell is a prominent British
leader in her own right. The
only daughter of the Marquis
de Breviaire d'alaincourt and
Mrs. Alexander Dick of Phila-
delphia, Lady Russell has al-
ways taken a great interest in
Jewish affairs and has recently
returned from an extended tour
through South Africa, Rhode-
sia. Kenya, France and Holland
lecturing and showing the docu-
mentary film "Israel, Land of
Promise," considered one of the
finest technicolor documentaries
on Israel, which she directed
during her visit with Lord Rus-
sell in Israel in October. 1956.

Lord Russell, who served as
Deputy Judge Advocate Gen-
eral during all trials by British
military courts of Nazi war
criminals. is considered one of
the most colorful figures in
British political life. He created
a world wide stir in August,
1954 when he refused to sup-
press his book "The Scourge of
