on Espionage Charges
HAIFA (JTA)—Three Israeli

were arraigned before a Haifa
magistrate on charges of espion-
age for Arab. countries. The
magistrate has set no trial date.
The defendants are Naif a

formed with
an Arab folk
dance group in a Jaffa night
club: Ahmad Shaadi. and Daoud
Amouri. The dancer was
charged specifically with twice
crossing the Israel-Jordanian
border to meet with Syrian and
Jordanian military personnel.
