Mr. Kahn, prior to his retirement, was a painting contractor for many years in Detroit. He and Mrs. Kahn are lifetime members of Cong. Bnai Moshe, in which they had been active participants. After spending five years abroad as a Vice-Counsellor with the United States State Department, Miss Judith Laikin is back in Detroit, and is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben- jamin Laikin, of 8360 LaSalle. Miss Laikin spent two years in India and three years in the State Department office in London, England. CLARKE The Southern Oakland Com- mittee of the Jewish Commu- nity Council is looking into the possibility of developing a long-range study of real estate discrimination. The committee, representing Jewish service and religious groups, was told of problems caused by the movement of Jewish families into new subur- ban areas.
