Two state medical students
are the recipients of fellowships
awarded by the March of Dimes

The award winners are Irving
M. Miller, of 18297 . Wooding-
ham, and Jerome I. I Millman,
of Ann Arbor, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Millman, of 2240 W.
Grand Blvd., Detroit.
Miller, a member of the
Wayne State University college
of medicine class of 1958, re-
ceived $600 fOr 12 weeks of
special study in public health
and preventive medicine.
Millman, a University of Michi-
gan medical student, class of
1960, received a $400 grant
covering eight weeks of medi-
cal research at the university.
Both awards, announced by
William J. Young, Jr., chairman
of the Wayne County Chapter
of the National Foundation for
Infantile Paralysis, are part of
the organization's professional
education program.
Over $25,000 has been spent
in grants to schools, profes-
sional associations and student
fellowships to assist in main-
taining and improving stand-
ards and service since the Na-
tional Foundation was estab-
lished in 1938.
