Gets $34-Million
Graduate Grant-

NEW YORK (JTA)—A new
graduate school for advanced
study and research in the medi-
cal sciences- will open this fall
at the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine, it was announced
by Dr. Samuel Belkin, presi-
dent of Yeshiva University.
The establishment of the
graduate ,school has been made
pOssible through an initial gift
of $750,900 by Samuel H. Gold-
ing and his son, Jerrold R.
Golding, of New York.
This is the largest individual
:gift that has been made to the
College of Medicine. The new
school will serve as .a . perpetual
memorial to the late Sue Gold-
ing, Samuel Golding's wife, who
died two years ago, and will be
known as the Sue Golding.
Graduate Division of Medical
Sciences. It is believed to be-
the first graduate school in the
country named for a woman.
The Golding Graduate Divi-
sion of Medical Sciences will
provide advanced. study and re-
search training in the medical
sciences leading. to the Ph.D.
degree.
Students to qualify must hold
a bachelor's degree or its
equivalent from a college or
university of recognized stand-
ing. There are no geographic
limitations.
The school will have facilities
for advanced study and research
in anatomy, biochemistry, mi-
crobiology, immunology, path-

of Prague by Dr. Gustav Sicher,

Jewish Communities in Bo-

ber of special religious services,
a festive meeting and a number
of visits to the historical ceme-
