Two cups of wine are used
during the recitation of the
grace after the wedding dinner.
One is used for the grace itself,
since it is customary to recite
the grace over a cup of wine.'
The other is used to recite the
nuptial blessings, which have
already been recited under the
canopy, as the second set of
blessings.
The two cups are mixed to-1
gether after the grace and the
nuptial blessings have been re-
cited. This procedure indicates
that these two occasions have
been fused into one procedure
and that the feast which has
just been concluded has been no
ordinary feast; but a feast of a
special character — the wedding
feast. Some like to think that
the mixing of the two cups sym-
bolizes the fusion of the hopes
and ambitions of the two indi-
viduals who have just been
united in holy matrimony.

Dexter-Davison
H as Coupon Offer

The policy of the Dexter-
Davison Markets to bring gro-
ceries and produce to customers
at the lowest possible price was
reaffirmed this week by Reuben
and Norman Cottler, proprietors
of the Dexter-Davison Market.
They called attention to an
advertisement featured in each
edition of The Jewish News
(this week appearing on page
17), and stated that they are
elated over the public's response
to their weekly specials.
For the past few weeks, it
has been a store policy, Nor-
man Cottler said, to print a
special coupon in each adver-
tisement appearing in The Jew-
ish News.
This week's super coupon
special, he said, was on tuna
fish, making the price the low-
est in town.
