will enter law school in the fall.

JWV to Organize
Post in Oak Park
Prior to her recent marriage to Edwin Neback, the former
Elaine Hyman was entertained at luncheons and parties given
by her cousin, Mrs. Frank Cooper, her mother-in-law, Mrs.
Maurice Neback, Mrs. Murray Belkin, Mrs. Harry Kay and Mrs.
Milton Zussman. Showers were given by Mrs. T. I. Cooper, her
aunt, and Mrs. Herbert Cooper and Mrs. Sidney Katzman. The
couple was feted at parties given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Hyman; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Neback; an
aunt, Mrs. Joseph Frenkel; a cousin, Mrs. Marvin Frenkel; an-
other aunt, Mrs. Samuel Schwartz; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
Cooper; and friends, Mr. and -Mrs. Donald Greene and Mr. and
Mrs. Herbert Oppenheim. A cocktail supper was given by the
bride's brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Irving F. Burton,
and cocktail parties were given by Dr. and Mrs. Warren Cowan,
Dr. and Mrs. Murray Mahlin and their cousins, Mr. and Mrs.
William Ellmann.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph I. Yanich and children, Noah and Yael,
are now staying with Mrs. Yanich's parents, Mr. and Mrs, Aaron
Kassel, of 2316 Atkinson. They have returned here after living
for the last three and a half years in Jerusalem, Israel, where
Mr. Yanich was chief health educator for the Hadassah Medical
Organization's division of community health services, Bet Mazmil
Family and Community Health Center and community-group
organizer for villages in the Jerusalem Corridor.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Elkind (Betty Glass) and daughters, of
San Francisco, Calif., are presently here to visit with their
parents and grandparents, Mr. and • Mrs. M. Glass. Mr. Elkind
is on his way East where he will enroll at Columbia University.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Caplan and sons, of Arcata, Calif., are
in Detroit to spend the summer with their parentS, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Caplan and Mr. and Mrs. David Fleischman.
Miss Irene Seltzer has returned to her home in Miami
Beach, Fla., after spending several weeks here as the gueSt of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Olshansky and family.
Miss Irene Gordon, of Wisconsin Ave., and Miss Joyce Mogel,
of Meyers Rd., recently returned from vacationing in Miami
Beach, Fla. While there, Miss Gordon attended the Bar Mitzvah
of her cousin, Melvin Rubin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rubin, of
