Estelle Hyams Wed
to Simson Sendler

MRS. SIMSON SENDLER

Estelle Sue Hyams, daughter
of Mrs. Lewis G. Hyams and
the late Mr.' Hyams, and Simson
Sendler, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Israel Sendler, of Flint, Mich.,
were united in marriage on
June 16th, at Adas Shalom
Synagogue, Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal officiating.
Charlotte May Hyams as the
only attendant for her sister,
who chose a Parisian classic-
Type gown with bodice of
Chantilly lace and a sweetheart
scalloped neckline and baby doll
sleeves.
The skirt of nylon chiffon was
full and of waltz-length. Her
pert headpiece of studded pearls
caught in a fingertip veil of
clear tulle, and her bouquet
consisted of white rosebuds and
stephanotis atop a mother-of-
pearl prayerbook.
Carl Meyers, of Flint, was the
bridegroom's best man.

ROBINSON-MAAS. In an aft-
ernoon ceremony June 16 in the
Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel, Janet
Ellen Maas was joined in mar-
riage by Rabbi David A. Bay-
linson to Dr. Howard D. Rob-
inson.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Royal Shelton Maas and
the late Mr. Maas. Dr. Robin-
son's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Robinson.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a princess line gown with
sabrina neckline and short
sleeves of hand-corded duchess
lace and highlighted by a chapel
train. Her fitted cap of tiny
pleated silk illusion was out-
lined in matching lace, and held
in place her fingertip veil of
white silk illusion.
Chari Robinson was maid of
honor, and Robert Blumenthal
of Hempstead, N. Y., was best
man. Serving as ushers were
Dr. Conrad Giles and Dr. Har-
old Katzman.
Mrs. Robinson is a graduate
of the Kingswood School. The
bridegroom graduated from the
University of Michigan medical
school.

Plans at Stevensville

A weekend of parties, picnics
and star Broadway entertain-
ment is being planned by Ste-
vensville Lake Hotel, Swan
Lake, N.Y. to celebrate the
Fourth of July.

10 Mile Center Slates
Teen-Tween Trips

Plans have been announced
by the 10 Mile Branch of the
Jewish Community Center for
the first two weeks of its Teen-
Tween summer trip program,
which begins on Monday.
Among the places to be vis-
ited are Pontiac Lake Recrea-
tion Area, Monday; outing at
Kent Lake, Wednesday; an all-
day trip to Kensington Park,
including an hour boat ride on
July 8; and a ball game between
the Tigers and Red Sox at
Briggs Stadium on July 11.
