Handy `Cookbook
for Frozen Foods
Two auhorities — Charlotte
Adams, food editor of Charm
Magazine, and "Ann MacGreg-
or" (Amana Refrigeration's
home-economics staff, directed
by Mrs. Sara E. Walls) — have
combined their talents in pro-
ducing "Cookbook for Frozen
Foods," published by Random
House, 457 Madison, New York
22.
It is a volume full of valu-
able suggestions on how to
freeze foods and how to cook
frozen foods.
Also — it contains many very
good recipes.
It is not a kosher cook book,
but there are many _ recipes
which are suitable for kashrut
observers.
The chief value of the book is
its informativeness on freezing
and the preparation and selec-
tion of foods for the freezer.
The housewife gets the best
guidance here on how to de-
frost for cooking and the types
of food suitable for the pro-
cesses.
Tips and tricks for freezing
abound in this volume. It will
prove a blessing.
