as the years of suburban devel-
opment begin to mount.
One of the most exciting ex-
periences of the year was the

In this magnificent building,
which to date contains but one
wing of a proposed three-wing
structure, there has been organ-
ized a program of activity for
children and adults.
That there was a need for the
structure is increasingly evident
as its facilities are being utilized
for a great number of programs
—educational, cultural and rec-
reational.
Another gratifying develop-
ment was the completion of
the first wing of Cong. Beth
Shalom, a four-year-old Con-
servative synagogue, which
was organized mostly by
young families.,
After meeting in homes and
schools, the congregation held

Swedish Brothers Honored
at Country's National Day
STOCKHOLM (JTA) — Two
Jewish brothers have been
honored in the list of distinc-
tions published here in connec-
tion with Sweden's National
Day. Gunner Josephson, presi-
dent of the Stockholm Jewish
Community, was named a Corn-
mander of the Order of Vas.
His brother, Dr. Ragnar Joseph-
son, professor of art at Lund
University, was appointed Com-
mander of the Order of the
North Star.
