Miss Jaulus to Wed
in August Nuptials
MISS JACQUELINE JAULUS
The engagement of Jacqueline
Gail Jaulus, daughter of Mrs.
Evelyn Jaulus and the late Mr.
Sigmund Jaulus, has been an-
nounced.
Miss Jaulus will wed Ted
Greenberg, son of Mr. Samuel
Greenberg, formerly of Spring-
field, Mass., and the late Mrs.
Sophie Greenberg, in August.
The bride-elect is graduating
from Wayne State University
college of special education,
where she is president of Iota
Alpha Pi sorority. Her fiance is
a WSU student, and an officer
of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.
Center's Summer Plans
Include Teens, Tweens
Outings in the country and
visits to points of interest in
and around Detroit will be part
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter's summer trip program for
teens and tweens which begins
July 1 at both Davison and Ten
Mile branches.
The registration fee of $7 for
two weeks includes trips on
Monday and Wednesday of each
week, as well as a special eve-
ning program at the branches
on Thursdays. The program will
be offered during both July and
August.
Already scheduled are trips
to Kensington Park, Edgewater
Park, Point Pelee, Metropolitan
Beach, Cranbrook, Bald Moun-
tain Recreation area. Boys and
girls also will see a Major
League ball game. Several
mystery bus trips are planned.
Thursday evening activities
will inclUde a dance, variety
show and wienie roast.

Mrs. Max Stollman, who suc-
ceeds Mrs. Sidney Ravin as
president of the Ladies Auxil-
iary of the Jewish National
Fund, will be installed in of-
fice at the final meeting of the
year.

Omena Inn Signs
Children's Counselors
Betsy Kendler and Marshall
Rubin have been signed as chil-
dren's counselors for the Omena
Inn summer season, it was an-
nounced by the Landis family,
owners of the northern Michi-
gan resort.
Both counselors have had
wide experience in working
with and guiding children—Miss
Kendler at the Yeshivah Day
Camp and the Cub Scout Winter
Camp Weekend, Rubin with the
Habonim Organization in De-
troit.
Miss Kendler has made arts
and crafts her specialty and has
studied at both Wayne State
University and the Society of
Arts and Crafts.
Rubin has shown his ability
to supervise children as leader
of a group of 11 to 14 year old
boys in the Habonim organiza-
tion. He was served as coun-
selor at Habonim Camps. This
year the Detroit Jewish Center
employed him as supervisor of
its game room.
Under guidance of counselors
at Omena Inn, children play,
are entertained and eat to-
gether, their parents free to
participate in planned adult
activities, the Landis' said.

Amsterdam School Attended
by Anne Frank Renamed
AMSTERDAM, (JTA) — The
Amsterdam City Council de-
cided to rename its local Mon-
tessori School in memory of
Anne Frank, the Jewish teen-
ager martyred by the Nazis.
Anne, whose story was told. to
the world through her diary,
was a pupil at the school for
six years.

the annual picnic and instal-
lation of the Detroit League,
Jewish National Home for
Asthmatic Children at Den-
