The -fourth annual Institute
on Humah Relations, to be
held June 7 to 9, at Fidelman's
Resort, South Haven, sponsored
by the Michigan Regional Ad-
visory Board of the Anti-De-
famation League of Bnai Brith,
will hear reports by Dr. Mor-
ton J. Sobel, Michigan regional
director, and Irving __Fidelman,
chairman.
Discussion groups will con-
sider the use of mass media in
promulgating good human re-
lations, questions relating to
the Middle East and attitudinal
studies of the Jewish commun-
ity and its relationships to its
non-Jewish neighbors.
In addition, a variety of hu-
Man relations programs will be
demonstrated, including "Ru-
mor Clinic," "Critic41 Incident,"
"Answering the Bigot," "What
Would You Do?" and "$100,000
for Human Relations."
An ADL Sampler will fea-
ture films, publications, record-
ings, filmstrips, posters and.
other items of human relations
program materials. Resource
persons will include Dr.. Sobel;
Robert C. Kohler, program co-
ordinator; Mrs. A. B. Counsel-
baum, of Chicago, midwest
community relations director,
and Sidney H. Sayles, of Mil-
waukee, ADL Wisconsin-Upper
Midwest regional director.
Mrs. Counselbaurn, formerly
midwest program director for
the National Conference of
Christians and Jews, was
the first woman to serve on the
NCCJ staff. In 1947 she was a
delegate- to the first human re-
lations workshop called by the
International Council of Chris-
tians and Jews in Switzerland.
She received an honorary Doc-
tor of Laws degree at Beth-
une-Cookman 'College, Daytona
Beach, Fla., and received the
Thomas H. Wright Award of
the Chicago Commission on
Human Relations and the hon-
orary Doctor of Humane Let-
ters from Central State Col-
lege, Wilberforce, 0., for her
work in eliminating discrimi-
nation in higher education.
Gov. G. Mennen Williams has
been invited to attend. Cong.
John D. Dingell and other pub-
lic officials have signified their
intention of being present.

Lewin and Gilda Partrite will

the Labor Zionist Institute at

New Group Exhibition .

A •new group exhibition of
paintings opened Thursday at

of six noted artists.
