hold its annual banquet at 6:30
p.m., June 9, at Cong. David

Agudath Israel Honors
Memory of Chief Rabbi

LONDON, (JTA)—A decision
to honor the memory of the
late Moscow Chief Rabbi Solo-
mon Schlieffer by making a
financial grant to the recently
established Moscow Yeshiva,
was made here by the Arudath
Israel world executive.

Registrations are now being
accepted for nursery, kinder-
garten and first grade-aged
children to attend the fall open-
ing of the Hebrew Community
Day School.
The school is intended to edu-
cate Jewish children in the heri-
tage and traditions of Judaism
and American democracy.
Officers of the _new day school
are Rabbi Hayim Donin, presi-
dent; David Dombey, vice-presi-
dent; Seymour Ribiat, treasurer;
and Mesdames Charles Snow
and Emanuel Applebaum, secre-
taries.
The school's executive board
includes:

Rabbi Yaacov Homnick, chairman;
Mesdames Fayga Dombey and Ruth
Levi, registrars; Rabbi Emanuel Ap-
plebaum, curriculum committee
chairman; Mrs. Herbert Estrin, budget
and • finance committee chairman;
Rabbi Samuel H. Prero, board of
education chairman; Shimon Berris,
Rabbi Israel I. Halpern, Sonia Ribiat,
Leonard Servetter, Saul Waldman,
and Sylvia Waldman.
